@DUCKSURF, happy birthday.

 

Yup all the time. The brace isn't really the problem it's the swelling and tingling in my hand from the nerve damage. I know one thing is this arm is crazy looking can't wait to be able to lift again. Was doin curl sets with 50lb dumbbells before all this now I don't even think I could do half that. Was just building my strength back from being off with my knee and was just working my way back to where I was little by little

Take this opportunity to get a new tacoma!! When ur waiting go out and trade in for a 21 tacoma and when she is done with the procedure she will say wow that procedure really works ur truck looks brand new !! hope all is well .

So this was yesterday's first solo job. Came out perfect. Took alittle longer then I wanted but the customer was a friend of a friend and just didnt stoo talking lol.

Was supposed to do a quarter glass also but the customer threw out the rubber gasket the glass sits in. So he has to order a new one from honda.



Was supposed to take before and after pics for the gram but forgot to take the before pics.

I was a few years behind you ... 1997-2000. I had S-4, S-5 and S-2 for a short time. Did a complete work-up cycle, deployment to the Gulf, then another complete work-up cycle and transferred right before their next Gulf deployment.

My second ship was HOPPER (DDG 70) and we escorted JFK for a few months during my first deployment on her. It was weird seeing my old ship from the new ship. Fast forward 12 years and I was on IKE and HOPPER was an escort for us in the Gulf. Also did a tour on GW in between HOPPER and IKE. Ironically, when I was on HOPPER we also escorted GW during my first Gulf deployment on her. All of my ships were somehow linked to one another during my tours.

 

I went from a Fram I destroyer, USS Corry DD-817 to JFK. Talk about culture shock. Corry was a reserve destroyer out of Philly w/ 100 regular crew and another 200 reservists.

 

That first drink went down so fast I think I'll have another..

came up to your neck of the woods today. Was out in Johnstown. Lot of beautiful scenery from the air out here.

 

Took the day off to do some surf fishing in Delaware

 

Any day fishing is better then working, doesn't matter if you're catching or not

 

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and welcome to that thing people call weekend!!!

I had some running around to do yesterday so I didn't get much done - vacuumed out the pool and hit it with shock again. Just about ready to swim....except the water temp is sitting at 58. I'll probably turn on the heater next week. I also chipped up the brush I cut from along and behind the greenhouse and tractor garage.

Today, I head out to play golf wit a bunch of other former military guys. We get together once a month from May - October for lunch, golf and dinner.
