No way I'm reading 407 pages.

Do you guys have any suggestions for buying bulk Lego online? I see them sold by the pound on eBay but those listings all look like they're sending you their leftover crap for insane prices.

I'd be starting from scratch with nothing specific in mind, just wanting to build randomly when the mood strikes.

maybe just pick up a couple of the "classic" sets - its just random pieces but a good variety for smaller projects. walmart, target, costco, Amazon all offer pretty decent deals on them. better if you want to wait for black friday

In addition to what others have suggested, you can search within threads.

For example, type “bulk” in the search box (tap the magnifying glass icon) then select ‘Search this thread only’. You’ll get 26 results.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
My last bulk purchase was 225 lbs of used LEGO for $900. Got it off craigslist locally. Ebay is too $$$ for used and too risky.

I just bought this and the 911 with the 20% off Amazon was doing, it really is a damn nice model. Steal for the price.
