I don’t understand the continued holdup. I was told the new boots are being manufactured in Pennsylvania just like the UCAs themselves. No ships waiting to dock off the coast or anything like that.

So how did we go from “last week of February” to now what MIGHT be the last week of April?

    WTF this is bullshit

They told me on Friday “ still a week or two before being shipped”.

The unchanging “week or so” crap has got to give eventually, right? What exactly could be the reason for this status to have remain unchanged since February? Are they kicking the can down the road hoping we’ll all forget? I’d like my new UCAs to not be purging grease due to shitty boots.

Yeah. I put on the boots they sent me a couple weeks ago. They are already cracking and leaking.

I just bombed their newest Instagram post because honestly this is laughable. Either they have no intention of ever sending any of us replacement boots, or they have no idea what the actual timeframe looks like. Either way, I’m not impressed.

Well my boots officially started dumping grease. Time to take them off and put the oem uppers back on. Going to return the JBAs I think!

I’m curious if JBA gives you any pushback on the return process. I’m planning to keep mine but I’m also planning on eventually having jots that don’t crack.

Your question below about removing the steering knuckle adapter, perhaps some heat on the outside of the knuckle in addition to the tool(s) of your choosing.

I think I’m gonna just keep an eye on them and keep grease in them and hopefully the new boots come soon. If not I’ll get uniball upper control arms. No boots to rip! Lol

I changed my oil yesterday and greased the UCAs. 3 pumps per side for the bushings in back and 1-2 for the ball joints. Pushing a tad bit of fresh grease in and ultimately out of these dogshit boots should help keep the ball joint itself happy until non dogshit boots arrive. Haha

yeah it’s fine to drive just make sure you keep grease in them in they start to leak. They said 2-3 weeks they will start shipping them out. I’m taking that with a grain of salt. They haven’t been on time with their eta’s so we’ll see.

Yeah I’m on my second set. Have talked to them on several occasions. It was a month ago today. Said should be shipping out in a week or two!

If I had hindsight, there’s zero chance I would knowingly purchase these again. That said, JBA does indeed seem to be trying to get those of us affected by this replacement poly boots as soon as they can. But the waiting sucks when you’re the one in need and the need only grows.
