Maybe someday I'll build my midget or taco into a road course race vehicle... but I gotta get a house and a garage to do it in first

That's the ultimate goal to have/race someday. Pretty much the same as the midget but they look so dang happy. Also I experience the side effect of having a race truck- I'm on wheel delivery duty for my roommate who's also racing. 7E8E6F1B-FF3B-4E74-A4AA-017EB29D488B.jpg

The door, fender flares, quarter panel, was resprayed, hit and run.

The fender flares were the same color as the bumper cover but I had it resprayed the same color as the body with the intention of repainting the bumper cover. The front flares are body color and bumper cover color, mix n match. I was bought this way. The dealer could of had it repainted at one time without letting me know due to it was damage in transit or parking lot.

Off the door tag color code: C/TR 202/LA10

I was thinking the same thing at one time. Different composition material from the body to covers, trim. When I see the flares in the sun light side by side on the SUV with different color I knew something wasn't right and the dealership couldn't give me an direct answer.

    What's the LA10 stands for?

Just look in the direct sun, in person the color isn't that much off but definite can tell the difference. The picture makes it a lot worse.

    Mornin' stockers :hattip:

Well, I officially broke the Talon last night. Started up and ran fine coming out of work. Couple miles outside of work I was pulling out of a back road onto a main one. Almost seemed like I took off in 3rd, no power what so ever. Went a couple feet, re-positioned, and put it in 1st. Nope, no power and was starting to missfire/buck/backfire horrible until it sorta caught. Uh oh. Tried to accelerate and as soon as you hit 3400rpm's it acts like a rev limiter. Just sputters and bucks. Thought to myself "now what?" Well, I pretty much had up to 3,000 rpm's so I said screw it, try and get it home. Somehow it made it up the mountain; the last 1320 feet were sketchy as now it was starting to really cut out. Once I got to the top it was all downhill (heh) from there. So, looks like another issue. I'm thinking fuel delivery issue with the way it acts like it's bouncing off a rev limiter. Don't know when the last time the fuel filter was replaced, but I have a sneaking suspicion the fuel pump shit the bed. And my luck I got a full tank of gas...

If it sounds like a rev limiter I'd be inclined to think more spark issue than fuel...

That's what I was initially thinking, but the initial cutting out like it was and the cutting out on the last part of the mountain made it seem like fuel delivery problem. I guess since the valve cover gasket is leaking it could have gotten oil down the tubes?

That's some sort of interior trim code. I don’t know the specifics
