    Then go to www.vftuner.com and buy the $349 Software with cable.
    Then, go to the resource>>instructions (Installation Guide) to learn how to use it.
    Flash my tune the same way you flash any tune.
    If you need to buy the tune files, PM me.

    PapaRee, I guess I did not explain it that well, my fault. I have not updated the truck yet since I dont have a new tune that will work. I have the full VF program and verified last night that my ECU is unlocked. I will update once I have a tune. The dealers here are awesome for service and safety stuff but they do not have the TSB information as everything is EU and they do not do the updates. PM inbound to clarify what I am trying to do.

    Flash and log version is fine and will work.
    Speed limiter is increased to 350 kph. Stock is 173kph.

    OK going to be a voice of common sense here after reading all this.

    Tuning engine a bit is fine, to an extent.

    There is a reason tunes are limited, especially when it involves automatic transmissions, primarily electronically controlled one's. Because screwing with the transmission mapping is just stupid if you want it to last and expect it to be warrantied with a failure. Trust me WE CAN TELL a manufacturing defect vs system being screwed with an too much power being put through it in too high of gears. Very easy to tell when you open one up.

    Tunes this aggressive never should have existed for AT transmissions and screwing with the mapping, dumb idea. Will be apparent when complaints start coming in about broken and smoked ATs.

    Please elaborate on what an "aggressive tune" does to an automatic transmission and back with sources, examples, etc. What exactly would you be looking for if you opened up a transmission that would easily tell you that it was tuned?

    Wondering the same thing...mine is tuned now and the biggest (and best) change is the power band is more linear. It will hold the gears a little longer before shifting which makes it waaaay better to drive. It's not like we added 200hp and are ripping up and down the street with it.
