Took it on a little 45 min. drive to my niece's house to look at her car. 2015 Chrysler 200 with a 2.4. Needs a motor (transmission) mount.
Why in the hell does Chrysler use external Torx? I don't have the correct size so I borrowing it from a friend today.
I also found a shortcut so as to not remove the battery tray, which is a PITA.

Guessing you have the 4 cylinder? I ask b/c mine is in for a new frame and if it ends up needing an exhaust I might just get it done while it's there..was thinking I'd upgrade when that time comes.

Yes it did. I even had vibrations at highway speeds lately that were fixed. I went and got the tires rebalanced since I thought it was the tires but the shop told me they were fine.

I have a rotational squeak that is intermittent but when it does, the squeak accelerates as I do. Let off the gas, no squeak.

I greased all my zerks, no help. I changed my u joints and my carrier bearing 33k miles ago. Carrier bearing boot looks rough.

My setup is Bilstein 5100 on ome 885 coils w AAL. Thoughts? Time to do my u joints again?

    Picture of the carrier?

I think what you're referring to as a "boot" is actually the support rubber "doughnut" and if that's bad and your drive shaft has more than a little play it needs replaced.

Could be a bad wheel bearing, i had the same symptoms as you and thought it was the center carrier on the drive shaft. ended up being the wheel bearing.

it was an embarrassing squeak too. the kind that makes people turn their heads when you are next to them at a red light.

I got fresh front hubs and bearings less than 8k miles ago. Heres a pic of the carrier bearing doughnut...

I would call this an embarassing squeak. Maybe it's time for rear bearings?

I can definitely feel my driveshaft drop slightly when I stop and then bump slightly and raise when I start into the throttle.

Yeah that carrier bearing is DONE. If you're mechanically inclined, you could easily replace the bearing and all the ujoints. Borrow a press from autozone and in a few hours you will be squeak free.

A few mods here and there and counting....
I redid all my doors by adding the Noico Red and replaced the oem vapor barrier with Kilmat sound deadener. I can say, my sound system sounds way better than ever. As for the heat, time will tell but i know the interior is already cooler with the roof done. Not to mention, its much quieter in cabin as the loudest thing is the wind noise generated from the roof rack. Time consuming mod but definitely worth it.

    Thanks!
I picked it up from Fellers website, Avery Dennison SW900, and the color is Gloss Dark Blue Metallic, 653M. Unfortunately right now it doesn't look like it's in stock at that website. Maybe try other sites.

Based on your avatar I'm guessing you have a darker blue than I do. My BRM is dark, but still a little lighter than the Indigo blues Toyota had. This color wrap is lighter than my BRM. That said, if you're just doing the roof, not many people (if any) are going to know the difference.

I wanted to do my hood, but for me that would be too noticeable.

What lift are you running with those size tires? How do they fit?

the front is only leveled (lifted 1.5" roughly) everything else is stock height. The only rubbing I have is from the inner corner of the front mud flaps when I turn. Everything else is fine. Have to test articulation though. I suspect I might get rubbing when fully compressed but not sure.
