I had one and also a tow behind. Sold them both a couple years ago. The tractor belonged to the Navy at one time. They were around 200 serial numbers apart.

Thanks! My welds weren't as pretty as usual, I was welding in the dark for 99% of this. Huge pain, I need a better work light than what I have. That's why there are no up-close pics of the welds haha.

As for the poll- I love metal work, but it seems that ever since I got married and we built a house I just don't have time for stuff that I want to do. Funny how I make time to do things for other people in a bind, though...

    Thanks! :)

No, but that angle sure makes it look like one, right? That's my '64 Massey Ferguson 35 Utility. Just finished putting the dash all back together after fixing and modifying the battery tray, power steering, and starting to put new gauges in it. Apparently I now also need a new tube in the front right tire.

Edit: the mini skid steer I got for free, but ended up giving my friend $300 for it, as that's what he had into it. Slowly bringing it back to life, more details in the tractor thread, spread all over haha.

    Another pic:

Cool, had the opportunity to buy one a few years ago, but no way to transport it at the time.

Yeah, the front of the loader frame has that same basic arch look to it. Thanks, I picked it up for $1000 as a non-runner back in October 2015. The previous owner was a real old fella, kept getting lowballed on it. I was something like tenth in line to go look at it. Told him on the phone that if the engine and trans castings aren't cracked, I've got no problem paying a grand. Apparently that jumped me to #1 on line.

I hired a flat bed to drag it home that day. I even sent his son a picture of it back up and running after I rewired it, put a new lift cylinder in for the 3pt hitch, and changed all the fluids. The old fella loved it, was super happy that it didn't go to the scrap yard. After I got it up and running I accumulated beat old brush hog for it for free, a 6' flail mower for $300, snow plow, and a 6' snowblower for $500. All said and done, I'm less than $2500 into the whole deal. It treats me pretty well for an old, tired machine. 4cyl Continental gas motor pops right off even well below freezing. Worst part about it is the rear main (rope) seal leak... so it goes through some oil lol.

Got further along than I thought I would today. Especially with “hey dad” every 8 seconds.......I wouldn’t have it any other way though :D

I wish I could bring my son to work. Very cool. Used to bring him to our office when we owned a Cpr training company and he would watch classes.

    A thing or two...
You guys have been busy in here. I was behind like 500 posts.

On the topic of gas, it doesn't appear to be affected over here in south AR. Topped off today to head to the airport on Sunday. Gas prices are same as a couple weeks ago when I last filled up.

Same here. I had to go in for a few hours to finish writing some SOPs. Spent about half of everyday this week in one of our closed areas working on them.
