Like @Suprajim54 said whats the budget? Tandem is a good shop but if your installing yourself I would look around. There are long lead times happening on most suspensions right now. Accutune gets a lot of praise and will valve your order for you truck. Since getting my 2nd lift I kinda wish I had gone that route and will likely send them mine when its time to be rebuild so I can have them revalve them.

I figured that question would come up. I think I would be willing to spend up to $3000. I'm somewhat flexible. I want to get it right and not regret it. You know... Buy once, cry once.

I have been hearing about the long lead times. Tandem told me they were doing Toytec setups now. I think they usually do them with Kings but those have an obnoxious lead time. I'll take a look at Accutune and see what they have to offer. I've been looking a bit at Fox suspensions but I'm still open to others.

Toytecs are good setups. I believe @Silverspool is running it on his 4R. With a budget around that you should def end up with a nice rebuildable setup that you can run for a long time.

You should be able to get some cash back selling your stock suspension, too.

I agree with the suggestions so far.

I have Icons in the front, Kings in the rear.
Icon recently changed their tophat design after several failures, including mine. (They did warranty it, but it was frustrating to be in Big Bend with a failure in the first place.)
King is pretty and blue, and expensive, but worth it.
Dobinson has a good reputation lately, but stay away from their snorkel.
Fox exists. Their actual suspension is different than what’s on your truck now.
Ignore iron man and their zombie green crap.
Toytec is fine. Seem to be a lot on trucks recently. Spoke with a kid tonight who said he blew his, but I have no idea how high he jumped it.

That's my thought. I've seen people able to sell them fairly quick.

Ha! Don't need a snorkel. I have the TRD snorkel.

Like I said, I've been looking at Fox, specifically, the Fox 2.5 all around. Just the descriptions and reviews show a big difference. Different isn't bad.... Right? Especially if it is better.

I'm not opposed to the Kings either. The lead times on those are rough. I'm not in a huge hurry though. I probably won't start on anything until after my mid-summer road trip. I'm starting my serious research now.

I think that a lot of people have been going with Toytec because they don't have a huge lead time, like others. I haven't seen very much of them until recently.

Kings are well worth the wait and price. Except the rear shocks, for some reason it’s cheaper to go with 12” kings in the rear with a relocation than it is for the oem spec ones

I had the Toytec Boss kit on my 4runner for about 50k miles without issue. Running full skids, bumpers, 2nd battery and all that. Finally blew 1 shock in the front in Colorado last year. I wanted Kings but no one had them in stock and I needed to drive home. Toytec was local and had product in stock so I went with the newer Alumaseries 2.5". Very impressed with it and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The Alumaseries is made by Elka and is rebuildable so that is a plus.

this has got to be the single most important reason to consider the alumaseries 2.5.. you can get a setup built by Elka without paying Elka prices

I think my stepdad is still a member there. We used to shoot skeet there a lot. Never been to the rifle side.

I have never been to the shotgun side.

Its a great club. Some politics involved, but anytime you have 3000 members, not everyone is going to be happy.

The shotgunners bring in the money... so they kinda rule the roost.

I am OK with that, but throw us a bone every now and then. We only have 11 benches. Its hard to run a match with 25+ people with jsut 11 benches.
