"TRD" logo caps came with. Not sure if that's still the case.

@mkultra007 - Very nice! You definitely need to post more pics...from multiple angles. Waiting delivery of the new FSW wheel, with 0 offset. Really torn between 265/70/17 or 285/70/17. Not sure I want the extra weight and load of the 285's, but could be swayed. Wish the Wildpeaks came in a 275. Anyway, glad to hear your 285s fit with 2" lift. Just got the TRD Leveling lift done and it's about ~2 inches as well. Look forward to seeing your additional pics.

I went with the C load KO IIs. Just being honest with myself, this thing isn't going to see major abuse... for now... and the 10 ply E load would be overkill for me. Ride on the Cs is really good. Trying to keep CG and un-sprung weight low.

Also learned how friggin' heavy even the stock rim/tire combo is while unloading them after the swaparoo. Solo, it would be a PITA trying to replace one roadside or on trail. I'm used to big car tires like 315s, but oof.

Performance doesn't feel like it's taken much of a hit with the 285s. My averaged MPG was 17.3 before the swap, and I'll check that in a couple of weeks after running these. Not feeling any need to re-gear so far.

So just so I understand.... if I get the 17 with the +0 offset and put 285/70/17 BFG KO2 with a 2” lift (bilstein shocks) I will have NO rubbing on my 2021? I love these in gunmetal and I want something simple with no trimming etc. if these will work I definitely want them...

You would usually need a 3" lift at the minimum to clear. Some can get away with it on 2", but other factors may come into play.

So... @Johnny77 hows that update on those OEM center cap fitments coming along?

So after looking more closely at the center caps, its the exact same design as mine. So i had red center caps. I sprayed them satin black and added these decals from ebay...looks great

Huh really? My gen2 prerunner only has bilstein 2” lift shocks and it cleared the the 33s. I thought the gen3 was supposed to have a little more clearance stock than the gen2? I can put a 3” lift but now I have to figure out what the best lift would be ugh

Suspension wise, the 3rd gen is very identical to the 2nd gen. In fact, It is so identical that the 3rd gen is a basically just a mid cycle refresh.

    If you did a 2" on a 2nd gen, then it is equivalent to a 1" on a 3rd gen. I personally haven't heard much of people clearing 33s on a 1". I run 275/70/17 on a 2" lift with no issue.

We have testimonies of people clearing 33" KO2s on 2"
So you can try it out.
