Theres a facebook group with 11 people going to Greenridge on Sunday, which I believe is pretty light in terms off offroading, but would be a good way to get your feet wet. (no pun intended, because you can't water cross in MD lol). I'm taking my stock af 4runner. FB groups are iffy sometimes, but I've been satisfied with Maryland Off Road Enthusiasts (MORE) and HiluxSurf Offroad. The event is in the MORE group, and I think its titled GreenRidge Fun Run. I have an extra radio you could borrow if you want to come

I'd also be down to go to AOAA Saturday for some greens if we got a few people together. I've been there twice, and its greens are pretty fun for a stock vehicle. Kinda the "more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow" sentiment, just applied to offroad capability instead of speed

Also the Northern Virginia Roll Call thread is a good place to hang out, since they're closeish to the more southern maryland, can tag along on some of their stuff. I believe they're planning something for 6/5/21

My brother is taking my kid and I on his boat fishing. Hoping to catch something, going after catfish in the Bush River.

Green Ridge State Forest has fun trails that aren't too tough. Savage River is also a good one

 

Like every weekend, I'll be in the WV mountains far from civilization. I plan to take the Harley out and hit some back roads tomorrow.

 

I’ll be up there Sunday ,picking up some plumbing and electrical supplies Saturday.Cant wait to get bathroom installed.
