    Strange question but I keep having issues with Neutral Safty Sensor on 05 Tacoma. Would it be possible with the HP Tuner to bypass the sensor so the truck could start. Will be on my second NSS tomorrow in 2 years and don't want it to break on a trip a hundred miles deep in the woods or something.

    I was searching how to delete the SAIS cause of P2443 and lead me to this badass thread. Read some of the pages but dint find any answers to my interest.

    Hoping skipping 300+ pages lol. Anyway do I have to buy the interface to delete the SAIS? Or purchased ECU and send it to the tuner to delete this?

    No, I talked to him he actually built his own chassis and is using it in a vehicle he created which has never had a vin number or mass produced with emission regulation requirements

    He means your truck will not be driven on public roads. Like doing this make it not street legal anymore. Like where your going you don’t need no roads! Or live somewhere free and not in CA

    As long as I don't drive to CA I’ll be fine? I had the SAIS repaired around 80k miles and now reaching 200k miles and got P2443 twice already after clearing the codes. I just don't want to pay another $500 to get this fix again rather pay the tuner to take it off inside the ECU.

    Just want to know where to start. Do I need to swap a chipped ecu or have to download a code into the HP interface and upload into the ecu?

    You can buy the HP Tuner mpvi and credits and use that to delete the code. You also might as well hit up @JustDSM for a custom tune. Or if you don’t want to do it yourself I believe he is still allowing people to just send him ECU’s and he can ship it back ready to go

    Anywhere in the USA under federal emissions laws (not just CA) if the SAIS system is modified the vehicle will only be able to legally be used off road and not on public roads. Just want to make sure matacopuki understands that as he progresses the conversation for the safety of all of our sakes

    Anyone tried using the standalone datalogging yet? Currently im only getting SAE channels back on the logs even though my written channel config has more
