vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

It's already back up. We gave ourself a 2 day window but it actually took about an hour.

 

Correct it says that BUT you down load 1.2.9.9.9...I just did!

 

People may think they are being top secret but VF Flash Tool actually logs *everything.*

Interesting. So the data gets sent to you? I paid to unlock the vina but they don’t show up anywhere on my tuner program.

I’m just more or less curious about it. Excited to see what new features I can play with in the new version.

Mat has said it would work/support .vft, I'm just trying to make sure I'm not going about this the long way.

 

If you do convert a .vft to a .vfc, make sure to adjust any EROM Cruise Control maps that may not have been in the tune(s) before. I say "may" because those maps were available at the end of the last update before the GUI changed, so not sure when you may have created them.

 

The drop down doesn't list .vft, just .vfc

 

In my experience any .vft file can be opened with the new software 1.2.9.9.8 and now 1.2.9.9.9. When you go to save it the program automatically converts it to .VFC making it safer to flash and recover ECU if necessary.

 

So do we need to buy more credits to try the newest tune coming from OVtune?
(When it arrives of course)

 

Ok. I'll make sure that is working when we release the update for the Tacoma. Should be showing....

If possible I would recommend convert your old file to VFC.

Well after reading the last two pages of posts since the release I am now more lost. Gonna give it a week and see how to proceed - not really concerned about new tunes - just want to ensure the new FM works as easy and seamless as the original .vft FM. Carry on - I will keep an eye on progress.
