No. You have two options. You either trim the plastic storage bin panel as shown in STEP 4 here (scroll down, and click on “Support”. Then scroll down again until you find the installation PDF):

Take out the storage bin completely.

Finally all finished up and installed.


I'm going to redo the wiring at some point. It's quite a mess.

 

Anyone have any insight on the groundshaker dual 12 or the single ported 12?

 

I was going to buy a ground shaker box with a similar set up. Is that custom made. PM me please for guidance. I want to do that set up with the amp rack but I'm new to this!!!!

 

Is that the 8 or 10? Would it have fit under your seat? I'm thinking about getting one of these.

 

It's the kicker hideaway 8'' and would not have fit under seat.

How does that 8" sound? Do you hear it or feel it

 

I don't know, because I did the speakers, amp and woofer at the same time. I just know the system sounds awesome and I couldn't be any happier. It'll shake the rear view mirror on the right song 100%.

 

@grubburg That sounds good. Im sure an 8" in a box with some power will do a lot more so i may be headed in the right direction. What did you do speaker and amp wise

If you lift it AND lock the doors... you can have an angry wife tap at your window like a traffic cop.

 

Angry wife came stock on my truck, no lift required. Though I might enjoy watching the hellions try to climb into a lifted truck. Unfortunately, the older kid would probably laugh at the younger one and make him cry.

Alright Im diving in here with minimal knowledge. Looking to put a system in my vehicle and want to know which brands are the best to go with. What is bottom level, mid level, and top level brands? Looking at crutch field it is overwhelming the amount of brands and info etc. This isn't for my Tacoma but my classic car but I have a general idea of my plan I just have no idea which brand is good. Thanks guys!

 

what type classic car? I have a couple classic and run alpine head units in them but they are older. Speakers are older MB Quart components and alpine amps
