Cree vs Phillips. Isn't the Phillips a superior bulb?

The ones on the right are the Philips, but in H4 vs H11.

I had a set of leds prior to learning of the
the ultimate headlight upgrade by @crashnburn80 even with a cutoff built in the bulb still bounced everywhere. Swapped to his recommend setup an super pleased with, best headlights now I’ve ever had on any rig.

Just got the Hikari Ultras delivered. Did I fuck up and order the wrong model? Thought these were H11 s for low beam, but the plastic key way piece appears to be to big for stock housing key way.

Did they send wrong part #?

    Sorry for upside down pics.

    Anyone else run into this problem? 20210513_124717.jpg 20210513_124723.jpg 20210513_124812.jpg 20210513_124704.jpg Screenshot_20210513-125446_Amazon Shopping.jpg

Looks like you got 9005 bulbs (as per the writing on the lights)

Thank you for confirming and providing that pic. You can see the difference in the h11 vs hb3 there nicely. Same shape but slightly larger collar. Was hoping this was the case even though every where else said H11. One thing that threw me off also is the Amazon note that they were for "fog lights". Screenshot_20210514-150844_Amazon Shopping.jpg
Im going to return them and order again.... hopefully the correct ones are inside the box this time!

While hunting down the part numbers for hikari I found the blue 2.0 versions.
Any one have experience with these?

    I have these ones
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08S37X311?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

They are much brighter than stock, beam pattern is pretty good, but they are still not as good as my HID bulbs were. Im planning to get a new set of HID and either sell these or put them into the high beams.

Also to note, 2016+ tacomas use h11 for fog lights also, I think 2nd gen uses 9005 for fog lights.

Interesting. Hadn't seen those ones yet. Found a good comparison video on you tube about Ultra Vs Hikari 2021.

In that video it shows how the cutoffs are a bit fuzzy with the 2021 bulbs, thats the main thing I am not a fan of and why I am switching back to HID.
