Today was absolute molasses. Pretty sure the afternoon was at least 3x as long as morning

 

I think having my LT kit sitting in my living room is making the day go by slower. I plan to back the truck into the garage and swap to my extended brake lines out of the rain. Hoping to get the rest knocked out before Monday.

 

Oh looks like the forecast says it won't start till 3-4AM. I should be good to go. *knock on wood*

 

Time always drags with garage time right around the corner.

 

I'm hoping everything won't be a big mess. Only welding necessary is the shock relocates.

 

How much of a PITA is that?

 

Man, no kidding. I’ve complaining about the line for years. Protect Mahomes and the receivers will be better. This is going to help our run game too.

 

Shouldn't be too bad so long as its not all rusty. If it is, thats what air chisels are for.

 

Well, its gonna be a big ol brake fluidy mess I'm sure. So as long as you plan for a mess and a shower should be alright? Right?

 

I don't have one, just a big hammer and a death wheel.

Annnnnnnd the second hardline rounded off. Guess im buying a new drivers side hub line tomorrow... did a number on my finger when the wrench slipped too. Always something.

 

Did you use a flare nut wrench? Usually they strip when you don’t..

 

Nope, just regular old 10mm.

I also have extended brake lines I need to do.

 

Well pay someone to do it. I finally got it done but now I have squishy brakes even though I bled them. I'm sure it has to do with these having ABS systems.

 

Got a gopro from my parents for my birthday.

Can't wait to record trail rides. Specially Black Bear Pass... Think I'll put it driver side where I can see my tire and the view of everything else.

Rear skid done too. Need to rustoleum it and the front.

 

That would be the issue. Those fittings are soft and a regular wrench will wreck them.
