    Seems like these were just about everywhere when Toyota first started selling them stateside, but I haven’t seen them regularly in close to a decade; A lot of these that I see are beaten to shit, so it would seem that like the Tercels that came before them, owners treated them like expendable commuter appliances...

    Saw this by side of the road and stopped for a look; Appears to be about a 1995-1997 model, but I couldn’t confirm because it does not have a license plate and the windshield was too dirty for me to read the VIN. The inspection stickers expired in 2015, and the flat tires would also indicate that the car has been sitting here at least since the stickers expired; There was no contact info on the car, and it would definitely appear as though the seller has given up trying to sell it. The interior was also trashed, but the car itself looks to be pretty solid; People don’t just let perfectly good Corollas sit, so I’m guessing there’s some sort of mechanical issue with it that would totally negate any reason for paying more than a couple hundred bucks for the thing...
