My 5VZ-FE 4wd manual v6 is missing the top fill hole. There also isn't any fill hole under the hood for trans fluid.

Damn, I didn't realize they built such an assortment of high quality commercial stuff! I got sent to Bergamo Italy a few years ago for training on Cardi concrete drills, it was a fantastic trip and their production facility was so eccentric with trying to shoehorn modern tech in multiple hundred year old building.

I'd love to take another trip where I could visit a bunch of facilities like the Cardi one

Theres no dip stick or tube for the manual trans under the hood like the auto trans has. Auto transmissions are more...delicate...so they give them the ability to monitor the fluid level. Not really necessary for a manual.

But there's no fill port on the transmission right above the drain port? That wouldn't make any sense. I'll crawl under mine tomorrow just to make sure I'm not crazy and the pic I posted is the right one

You have the v6? Or the 4cyl

I'm not sure if the 4cyl trans has the same drain and fill locations as the 6cyl

Oh she runs like a dream. I’m gonna paint it black and make it look like a Mercury four stroke haha.

My kids are related to the Benelli family through their maternal grandmother. We visited them in Pesaro on our honeymoon. They sold the arms and motorcycle companies years ago. I had one of the motorcycles back when I was a teen. Strange how it turned out that I would one day marry into the family.

Isn't the smell the best part about a 2-stroke?
