I bought my Pro in November of 2019 and paid $44k. It now has 18,000 miles and car max has offered me $46k. I think I could even get $48k on a trade.

If I were to trade I would go 4Runner . The tundra is a nice truck . It’s way to big and gets really crappy gas milage .

Least you will be ready with the gas prices when they spike up. Maybe by 2023 there will be enough chips to build the new Tundra too.

yeah, I have a feeling that Tundra will be delayed because of chip shortage, and plus Toyota normally release gasoline version first and then hybrid, so definitely gonna be another year or 2 waiting. That speculated 30 MPG Tundra is so good if true

I bet there's an MSRP addendum when you see the truck in real life looking at the window sticker , premium window tint, nitrogen filled tires for $3000 stuff like that

I assume that 2018 is loaded, but that's insane for 75k miles! I'm shocked!

Sold: '19 TRD OR - It will always be in my heart.
At some point Vroom was offering $41,700 for my 2019, which is $5k more than I paid for it new. I ended up selling it to a local Autonation dealership for a little less than Vroom's offer. They listed it for $45K the following day and sold it within three days.

These truck prices are out of control. My old man just sold his 2020 SR v4 to a local dealership. He paid $29k last year for it. They listed the truck for $36k today, insane! I bought my 2020 sport for $36k

Dang makes me think I gave the dealership a friggin steal on my 2021 SX. Sold it to them $1.5k under what I paid 6mo ago. Oh well, I basically paid a few bucks a month to rent it... :notsure:

40K for a 2020 SR5. Carmax is nonnegotiable, so apparently there are people willing to pay these prices. I paid $32K for a 2021 SR5 in Nov 2020.

Did just the opposite with a 2001 tundra with nearly 300k miles that still ran great. Really didn't know what the truck was worth being 19 year old with that kind of mileage. A mechanic for a local garage told his boss that needed to find a truck as such in good condition for a customer of theirs. They came by looking the tundra over, and offered me 5k cash on the spot for it. Saw that pile a benjamin's, and couldn't think straight. They didn't have to ask twice.

This is going end so badly for a lot of people. Yes the country is reopening, but a lot of companies are dealing with staff shortages, increasing commodity costs all while carrying debt they took on to survive rona. Yet there's a new dessert just waiting to be served up, a lot of the country is now an a extreme drought. I'm sure this will compound the problem of increasing food prices.
