    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

I managed not to hurt myself..or anyone else yesterday playing golf. Mission accomplished. I also finally got a coat of water seal on the deck boards of the trailer.

Lynn is at her sister's place in Downingtown and they are flying to Atlanta today to spend a few days with their youngest sister. So, I am on my own and unsupervised. Be very afraid.

I'm going to take a sample of our pool water in to have it analyzed to see how much salt I need to add. Then I'm going to start up the heater and throw the solar cover on so I can get the water temperature up high enough so the chlorine cell starts to generate chlorine. I might even get in a first swim by tomorrow.

Oh, and I need to cut the grass. Today looks like a good day to do that, too.

Be safe and enjoy the day!!!

I don't blame the burger king folks. We start at literally 2x what they make or more.

Businesses paying minimum wage are going to die really fast right now, what with everyone scrambling for workers and hiking wages with hiring incentives. We're offering $1500 after 90 days right now.

    Good Morning PA Folks.
Looks like a great day on tap for today.
There are "Now Hiring" signs all over. Wawa near me is offering a $500 sign on bonus and they still can't get people. I hope things work out at your place Adam. $1500 is a nice bonus. There are several construction projects around me that have pretty much came to a stop due to the price of lumber. Seems things are in a turmoil with the opening up of businesses. Hope it all levels off soon so we can get back to a somewhat normal life.
Have a great day folks and be safe.

The Burger King near me is regularly closed due to staffing issues. Sadly this was happening prior to covid though as well.

Looks like McDonald’s knew what they were doing by remodeling most of their stores right in the middle of covid.

Yea cant even get windshields for the most common work vehicles. Like ford econoline and chevy express Van's. There's a national backorder on almost every semi truck windshields. Like navistar international hinos mack freightliner.

Transformer took a dump? Is that corroded disaster under the fuse a 3ph contactor?
I'm guessing excessive rot in all the multi-strand, and hoping that the infeed has branch beaker/fuse. Damn, makes Amazon look good.

The control transformer was shot yes but I'm going to let the fuckhead who wired it up the first time figure out the rest of it. Im not sure how it's even supposed to work.

Could not have asked for a better Saturday! Perfect weather! Went for a 7.7mile OneWheel ride this morning in Tyler State Park with my son, then came home and got the lawn mowed. The wife had plans with some friends this evening so after dinner my son and I went out again to the local community park and rode another 8.6miles. Had a fantastic time. :D

ready to relax with an adult beverage now.

Well, good old Murphy stopped by again today. Driving the daily van, got off the highway and smelled brakes -- thought "hope that isn't me" -- yeah, right...
By the time I got to the garage I could feel it dragging pretty good, glad I was close.
Ginger, freshly washed, is on daily duty.
If you need me, I'll be working on the van.:(
