I was thinking about taking them off but wondering if they could be handy tie-down points or dog leash attachment point.

Front and rear prototype rifle hooks. Printing and test fitting on my own rifle today. DM me and I'll print you a pair once they are refined a bit more.

When installing, what methods have people been using for sound deadening? I have heard removing the seats really increases road noise, so looking to do what I can to quiet it down to the same level it is stock, or better with the seats removed.

I'm currently in the process of doing this. Right now I have Noico 80 mil on it, but I plan on adding a layer of Second Skin Luxury Liner Pro on top of it, which has a layer of closed cell foam, as well as a layer of MLV. I'm hoping that turns out really well.

That and I have to fix whatever leak I have (I think its coming from the strips/channels that go in to the back window).

I currently have a layer of Noico 80mil butyl, then Noico RED 315mil foam and will add a layer of 1" acoustic foam over that. Then probably a vinyl layer then the molle panel.

I used the Noico 80 mil as well and then cut carpet to fit behind the molle panel.

The road noise mostly comes in through the cabin vents in the back wall. The carpet helps some but it still sounds like a windows cracked if the radios off. Turning on the air recirculation button keeps the vent flaps closed and quiet. Next time I take the molle panel off I’ll probably add some foam.

I finally got my panel in. Put sound deadening foam in, cut some canvas to size because it looked better, and used rubber standoffs to help with mounting. The missus painted the stripes to spice it up a bit. Now I just need to hang stuff on it...

Thanks to @CO_0321er for being the guinea pig. Refining the design for the rifle hooks. Rear hook needed to protrude off the panel a bit more to give clearance and line up the front and rear hook center position. Rear hook allows most buffer tubes to snap into it, while the front hook just holds the hand guard. Should fit most AR's. DM me if you want a set of these or the camp chair hooks from my previous posts.

I'd be interested in a rear seat panel for a 2021 double cab, with cutout for power window.

So I’ve been looking for a the ideal rifle solution with these racks. Couldn’t really find one. My rifle was essentially sitting on the bottom of the space bouncing around. I tried quick fists and wasn’t the biggest fan, as I would need to easy access to the gun should a situation present itself. I just didn’t want to get hung up trying to un hook the quick fists.

Then I saw @reymataco post a picture of some hooks he made for a camp chair and asked if he’d be willing to make me a set for a rifle. All said and done, these hooks are literally perfect. Easily slide I to place on the rack, and they are a perfect dimension for my rail and buffer. He made them so that the buffer tube snaps into the rear hook, providing some retention, but also ease of access.

I’m not sure if he plans on selling these in the future. But I believe in giving credit where credit is due. And these hooks are the cherry on top for my panel setup. He was super easy to work with and got these things made up in no time.

Thanks to @docloco for arranging these panels. And thanks to @reymataco for the rifle hooks.

I had another forum member ask for a set of the AR mounts. For this next iteration, I am making countersunk holes in two places along the back spine of the mounts so that people can put 1 or 2 screws (per mount) into the molle panel itself if they want to secure the mount better. I would probably do 1 screw at least, and maybe only on the rear mount? I might also make the mounts just a tad wider so they fit a little better side to side in each molle slot. I will report back when I get some feedback.

Hooks on the back are a bit deeper (I did this on my camp chair hooks but forgot to do it to these), and made them just 2mm wider to fit side to side a bit better in the molle slots. Just fussing with the screw holes now, pairing them with the right screws.
