That's a new one... one of our blacksmiths is a big fan of suspenders and sweatpants (but he's... ahhh... rather well insulated).

Good thing it wasn’t with the last Avatar. That would have been fatal.

I’ll share my fencing injury, late and fatigued I was putting in a T-post with the driver, I was goin’ to town on it running low on energy and amped to get finished for the night. The driver slipped up off the top of the t-post and caught the top of the post and the weighted end came down on my noggin. That was BAD. I have seen stars 3 times in my lifetime, this was #3, I can’t remember the details of #1 & #2

Store is looking great, @six5crèéd!

Hope the eye is alright @Gregthespy.

    And the geezbos look great!

After some monumental setbacks, the planter box is finally starting to take shape.

    20210515_192706.jpg

Getting it started was a pain in the butt (sloped patio and my incessant need for it to be straight and level) but things finally started to click into place.

My son texted me asking if I could bring him food and a Diet Dew. So far, he's only been scheduled the 5-9 or 12-5 shift but today he was on for 12-7. Until they had 2 no-shows so he's staying until 9.

Out in the sun all day, he's going to be a tired boy. Hope he was drinking enough.

I need to take an updated pic, with pump, filter, chlorine tab floaty thing, and solar cover. I’m already hating it, wasn’t my idea, but maybe when it’s 90 degrees outside I’ll change my mind!

    A thing or two...
Welp... cheap Chinese parts are crap. I found some bolts just barely long enough, but something is off with the bolt hole spacing and only one bolt will go in. I put it back together with the factory parts. I'll hunt up some genuine Honda parts when I get back from this trip.

Pool came with the house when I bought it, but I barely use it. I get it cleaned and the water right and use it a couple time. Then it sits and gets out of whack; rinse and repeat. The snowpocalypse earlier this year killed the control system for the pump and salt cell. Controller repair is $2000, and a new controller is $3400.
