much cool stuff going on here in this thread, as usual. Man I been staying very busy around the house, yard work, lawn mower maintenance, kids vehicle maintenance etc...hard to get caught up on anything around TW. Just too much busy stuff since I been gone 5 weeks out of town. I'll try to do better

Dumpster find wagon has a new use

 

Wife got and installed some lights. Need a bug zapper like we had as a kid. I used to love when a big moth would get hung in it.

 

My dad gave me this part of a hand well pump years ago, a friend had a miniature one and gave it to me today.

 

We bought a 15’ above ground pool years ago, it sounded great the first summer with all the frogs in it at night cause we didn’t keep it up. The second summer it got used several times. By the third it was sold to a friend, cheap. We now have a blow up pool for the kids.

 

My eye is fine, but I’m not sure about @Jtcmedic ! But if I need to admit it, my brain ain’t straight.

I feel you on a not level workspace @Fargo Taco, I had no real references to level. As you can see my shed is off kilter and cati-wampus (as some of us southerners would say)
I had to slope the pavers off the back of the not level shed, then run them downward to semi-level. It’ll work for a play space that the wife can use for pool time during the summer with the boys. After this, it’s onto the camper for upkeep and upgrades to go on our annual north Georgia camping trip!

Thanks for the link, I'm sure it will come in handy. I have the factory shop manual and parts list for the motor but didn't dig it out when I ordered. I went the lazy route and just bought an off brand bundle from Amazon.

Does it actually move water if you fill the basin? Cool either way but even better if it does.

Good morning friends! I woke up this morning and looked at the clock, had to get a picture

 

A driver carrying fuel canisters in her car flipped over, setting herself and the car on fire - another hoarding accident since the Colonial Pipeline was taken out.....

 

Last night brother in law finished up a stump in the front yard testing out his excavator repair.Filled it in and graded it last nightwoke up today to geyser broke a sprinkler line. That was easy fix just want to have second cup of coffee. Hope you all have a easy Sunday

 

Re: poll and pools. I had one at my old house in Mississippi. It was an absolute nightmare to keep up. In the 7 years we were there it went through 1 liner, 3 pumps, and two filters. The skimmer line broke as did a return line. It was installed in the 80's so the PVC was getting pretty brittle. The bottom drain cracked many years ago and had to be capped off so it was even harder to keep the water chemistry right. The guy who installed the liner didn't do something right so we were constantly adding water. No surprise the guy fell off the face of the Earth after a while.



I honestly think it made the house harder to sell. I think the dog got in more than we did!
