    I'm an old flash kit customer that just upgraded to VFTuner. My truck is 04A71 but I plan on updating it to 04A72 as soon as the tune pack is released for it. Is it safe to spend the 4 credits to register my vin or do I need to wait till I update it to 04A72 before registering?

    If you plan on making edits to the tune for your truck, I'd hold off and wait until the 04A72 TP is released. But you can register your VIN in the meantime, as that won't change when you update to 04A72

    So are the 'Reset ECU' and 'Clear TCU' buttons the new LV/AV resets?

    Or is just the Reset ECU button?

    I only do the Resets immediately after a flash. The couple times that I tried the Clear ECU, it yelled at me saying that there wasn't enough time since the last Reset.

    Was it actually properly converted to VFC? Or just changed the file extension. Because that doesn't work.

    Did you make the file or was it sent to you like that?

    Open it in VF Tuner and export it.

    Email me the file and I'll see why this is occurring.
