vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

It’s a locked file from kdmax and I changed the vft to vfc from that screen

 

VFT and VFC are two completely different file types. Changing the extension doesn't do anything.


Also general public statement, since so many people have issues with KD based files you guys should be emailing them. It's not a problem with our software.

 

Right. The file has to opened in vFTuner and exported as a vfc

Edit# so if anyone sends you a locked vft file it won’t work they need to send the proper file correct? No matter the ecu?

 

No one is making u respond here. If you care about the reputation of your product, it's in your best interest to respond to these. Hire a media manager.

I appreciate your input but what are you talking about? KD tuning it selling their files it's their responsibility to help their customers.
I'm talking about the constant flow of messages I get from people. I've already spoken to paparee about this.

 

I just sent you the proper .vfc file.
I have the most up to date Vftuner installed.
It is a simple load, then export to make the file a .vfc
File extensions cannot be changed.
I will put up a post on my thread for the rest to see.

lol I can assure you if I hired some media manager to work 9 to 5, and I completely stopped responding to people, my already sucky customer services would be 10x worse when people don't get a response until the next business day. Do you have any idea how many people harass me when I don't respond on weekends, at midnight?

Hiring a media manager that clocks out at 5pm would be nothing short of a headache, because people don't care about business hours. The only time I am even on this forum is when I am responding to emails.

Nope, you're right. I have no idea. But I also don't pull in 6 figures, plus a year and buy brand new 5 axis CNC machines. Figure it out bud.

Figured out or Monopoly? On your turbo thread I have multiple people leaving constant messages, on your ovt "2.0" thread I have multiple people leaving me messages, on VF, same. I don't claim to know what you're going through, but don't cash checks your mouth can't pay. You're not infallible, I hope your day doesn't come. But it may.

 

There are other tools for tuning toyotas. Anyone is welcome to use them.
The majority of our customers are not on this forum.

The kid learns! Half the time, based on what? You're Dyno results? Most of the time I'm the one voicing an honest opinion, and others follow suit. Where are the majority of your costumers and how are you confirming that?

 

Many of our customers actually email us that they get information from this forum but refuse to join it out of toxicity. Like I said, you don't even know. Whatever you *think* you are trying to do.. provide some "advice".... you're coming from your perspective, a very limited one at that.

Not sure what "dyno results" even have to do with this conversation at all.

Define "many"? Because I have many customers informing me that have issues. Long wait times(months), failure to reply etcetcetc. It's not a troupe on accident.
