I got the struts/shocks ordered through my local Toyota dealer and ordered the icon AAL for a 1.5” rear lift. For $550 total this should be a pretty nice 2/1.5” lift. I’ll post pics up when I’m done. Planning to run the stock tires for now as they only have 7k miles on them

Was your dealer actually able to order you the shock set? I haven't been able to find one that can get them for me

I went in person to see if they had any and they literally had 1 set for sale that had initially been set aside for another customer that wanted them and never came to pick them up. The parts guy at the Toyota dealer told me I was damn lucky because the SKU for just the shocks has been taken out of the system for a few weeks now. You could still order them but only if you got the whole kit.

Tried to order the shocks only and two hours later got an email back saying they were refunding my money, because the parts were not available for dealer to order.

I found a dealer today that had all the parts minus the grille. They sold me shocks and putting them on this week. One of the techs sold the grille to a different customer so they were looking to dump the shocks as everything has to be ordered together now. 1950 out the door including install, recal, and alignment. Got to be lucky! I called all the dealers around me for 2 weeks.

Has anyone done a self-install on a DCLB yet? I'm considering ordering the kit. I can't see any logical reason why DCLB isn't included at the moment other than CYA.

Those who haven't done the Toyota recalibration, are you seeing any issues at all?

    A few.
The only time I had a problem with the sensor is when i installed the aftermarket Pro grille. Fixed that problem by putting a washer behind the top screw on the sensor to tilt it upwards. After that i added the bilstein 5100s on 3rd notch for about 1inch of lift in front but didnthave any sensor problems.

I’m doing the install but only the shocks, no grille and I’m doing an AAL in the rear vs the block for my DCLB. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t offered for the DCLB for a CYA reason... center of gravity or some other dumb bs even though most of the dealers will install those cheap 3/2 spacers lifts which is even higher the TRD lift.

I had my local dealership install the full kit yesterday, so far so good. They took the fogs out though, but I’m replacing with Dynamic Diodes anyway.

This is probably a stupid question but I couldn’t find an answer anywhere; does anyone know what this is:

Ah, that would make sense. I just didn’t realize it would protrude like this. Too bad they didn’t have a dummy insert that sits flush.

Anyone know why some dealers take out the fog lights and some don't?

Some states have restrictions on height of fog lights.
There is a list in the beginning of this thread somewhere.

Yeah, this is the list I went by so I figured I’d be ok (I’m in CA). But my dealership took them out even though I specifically asked when I brought them in and was assured they would be left alone. I think it just depends on the tech, if they’re just following some SOP.

Didn’t matter much for me, I now have DD SS3 yellow Pros on the way.

Anyone know where to find a current list of states?
