No our nanny lets us manage that part of our lives ourself. I'm sure it was a battle between the Police Union and the Vehicle Inspectors Union. We currently pay vehicle inspectors $107,000 to sit at home and not grow corn.

No it didn't explode - it was probably blown anyway - IE: No gas left other than the air it sucked in while cooling.

compressed air first then a wet rag i was trying everything i knew to keep it from getting brittle, that and overheating the shock were my two biggest concerns.

I agree. You have what a $25,000 truck. Do you really want to risk it due to some $9 redneck engineering? Imagine something does go wrong and insurance finds out about your custom lift. What's going to stop them to use that as a scape goat for not paying you for your broken or totaled vehicle. Now you'll be out 25k all because your $9 lift. This is just part of the financial aspect, what about if you hurt somebody with it? Do you see where I'm going with this? It's not worth it!

then you dont need to be modding....

if you want 3" and still be mechanically safe, get a top plate spacer or 5100s...
