1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Upgrades we opted for;

convert the den into a bedroom
covered patio leading to the rear entrance, and concrete slab
extended island
selected our own granite counter tops
selected our own laminate flooring
dedicated circuit to the garage (for a welder)
dual sinks in the bathroom
pre-wired for ceiling fans in the bedrooms

and a ton of other stuff that's already considered as standard

The developer didn't add an option for pre-wiring the house so I may opt to do that myself for a smart home/monitoring solution for the outside

Backyard will be bare dirt, front will have nice lawn

I was looking into tree types that I will look into getting planted, as we don't want anything overwhelmingly large or one that comes with a lot of maintenance. Then there's also the shed we want to add too.

Rear patio entry is via sliding door though so we'll be replacing that ourselves later down the road.

Donate the Tacoma to me; value that thing at $10k, nice tax write off. Buy tractor

 

Forgot to mention, it's a 2 car garage.

I don't care to park in a garage and we've already discussed her using the left side to park her car.

Right side is where I'm choosing to get the dedicated circuit/outlets added and I'll have a bench in that area.

Apartment living has been nice actually; it's only going on now a year and a half?

And all the stuff at my place was bought new as I didn't want to bring/take anything from the house.

Nice thing is, she loves my 'style' (or lackthereof) so she prefers we bring my stuff to the house.

Really, I'm ready for the new house more than anything.
