What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Had to put the Taco aside to break out my 1st truck. Too much home repairs since the fires to get to it sooner so it's been sitting in storage. Didnt realize that much smoke and ash got in. It's going to need paint correction. Yea it's a Ranger. 3 vehicles cleaned, 1 to go.

 

Got around to mounting my rotopax fuel and water can and my Plano case. As a bonus, I can still clear the garage with them mounted .

 

I did too! So far not noticing a huge difference in mpgs, but the gear ranges have changed for the better. I think I probably will notice it less with a manual.

 

Things I didn't even know bothered me until...

 

Do you sleep in there with the heater or what? I have the same heater used in tents and deer blinds.

Yep I have a bed tent. The tonneau folds into a shelf. I put the heater by my feet.

Part 2 of 3 done for the sound deadening project. Pulling the headliner was a little bit of a pain. I forgot to take a picture after I put up the 315 mil CCF sheets but you get the idea.

No I don't. The Tacoma Mini was my first RC and first build.

 

Installed my Meso overhead hexrack today. The build quality, packaging, and hardware were all top notch. Exactly what you'd expect out of a Meso product. Trying to decide what I'll mount to it. For now, I threw a trauma pack on there that I already have put together, but I don't like how far down it hangs. I'll probably order some lower profile molle pouches, but I want ones that can quick "tear away," and most of those styles are the same size as what I have now. I may also throw some bungees up there so I can stuff blankets or jackets up and out of the way.

 

Working on this love-hate relationship I have with wiring.
