Thinking of ordering new brake pads and rotors soon. I had my front end rebuilt last weekend and they showed me my brakes are on their way out. I'm not sure what to get. Someone on the main 2nd gen forum mentioned EBC yesterday I think. This is a 2010 TRD OR 4x4 with 158k miles on it. Wondering if I need to replace the calipers too?

All right you guys, what is a "fully built", lol, 96 tacoma, with 34's, 4.88 gears, topper, resealed gaskets and things, the truck is good to go for another 1/4 million miles, worth?
Kelly bb is awfully low and i disagree with it.
I was thinking 13k for the truck. Am i way off base?

In other news, Larimer county is going to full bar seating on Monday. Pretty stoked about that. We are one of the last to.open up.

i wasn't a fan of EBC, mine did not last very long maybe 25-30k worked fine just not long lasting had green pads. I ended up going back to stock kind of. But i ran down a rabbit hole and read a thread about the red TRD pads with stoptech rotors so currently running those and like them so far we will see how long they last.

Right, I don't want to spend a ton of money on brakes for a Tacoma. I'm just thinking of replacing whatever needs to be replaced with maybe a mild upgrade.

If you have to replace everything, might as well do the 4runner brake swap. I did it a few months back, world of difference with the larger rotors/calipers.

Alpine loop, they didn't get much snow this winter and I heard at least Cinnamon pass should be open shortly.

Yep, KBB means nothing for the 1st gens other than that's probably the limit of what the insurance company would want to pay out.
