Took my motorcycle out to Popham and thought the same thing. Turned around at the fort and saw how dark the clouds were, boogied back up 209 with a bit more urgency.

Yup! Was sunny when we unloaded (peddle bikes) in Bath, 10 mins into the woods we heard the rumbles. After an hour or so it looked like we were mere minutes from the bottom falling out so like you, we boogied back to the cars. My knee ate the handlebars at one point so I was ok with knocking off when we did.

Weird. Nobody I know actually got rained on yesterday, lol. They all saw dark clouds & heard thunder or even saw lightning flashes, but none of them got rained on.

We had dark skies and lightning strikes right near BNES and all thought we would be doing wet runs. Ended up going around us.

Thats pretty cool man! I honestly did not know anything like that happened around here. Wish I had been around this weekend, would have absolutely stopped by and jumped in for a ride haha

Thunder, dark clouds, and rain in Durham. It was not a heavy rain, say light to medium in intensity and did not last more than 12-20 minutes but it was wet.

Well those are something, I suppose. It would have been weird for it to have threatened and then bypassed the entire state.

Finally got into the new house last week. Still recovering from Lyme and a subsequent illness from the Lyme and Moderna shot, so I can't do much. I thought this group might appreciate this garage shot of the detached garage. We're calling it the "trailer park" since it is where we park the trailer.

Plenty of outlets for plugging in tools, though.

For sure! Oddly they didn't wire in any 220V outlets.

Probably ran everything (lights, door opener, & outlets) off of one 15 amp circuit and it wouldn't support that sort of draw.

It has a dedicated 200A panel, it is more of a project left in progress. Business owner who needed equipment storage and then decided to move away. I will be adding a couple when I get around to it. A lift is planned when the right deal comes around.

Aha, so they powered it correctly, then.

In that case, it is a bit odd that they didn't run any 220 outlets. But, if they didn't have anything that ran on 220, it's just a useless expensive project. :notsure:

I camped at a nice spot near Parlin Pond/Route 201 for a couple of nights. For those of you that do the group outings, the sites at Lone Jack Pond will easily accommodate a dozen vehicles if no one else is there. I chose a spot just down the road that was more secluded.

The door opener is organically powered, well depending on what I eat.

When we bought our house the garage didn't have any power run to it and was that way as well. That lasted about 6 months, lol. Pulling in with the bike, putting it in neutral, dropping the kickstand, opening the door, putting the kickstand back up, putting it back in gear, pulling in, putting the kickstand back down & shutting everything down got old in a hurry.
