That's a horrible idea. What time?
Yeah, Hollywood. They didn't ask there either. We stopped our runs by the airport runway and watched the freedom birds to four counts.

Thanks for the offer Dave. I'm still waiting for mine to come in, but I'm in no hurry. I understand the delays he's having getting the materials. He's a heck of a nice guy too. I just think he should be a little more available to communicate when there are such delays. Glad you got yours too!

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.

    Good Morning Everyone

Looking for a Stock Toyota wheel 17x7.5 +15 to have for a full size spare. Currently have the stock +30 as a spare, but wanting to get specs more matchy matchy.

Been checking CL and FB marketplace but no luck so far, so if anyone sees one or has one hanging around, let me know. Maybe if others are looking, we could split up a set of 4.

no real preference on styling, currently have Early 5th gen 4runner trail edition wheels on my 4th gen, but doubt I'm gonna track one of those down for a reasonable price. If anything, having one different wheel as the spare will annoy people that care too much about their overland points, which would be funny

I believe the first gen tundra/sequoia wheels that I used to have are the same specs, so that could be added to your search.

Yep. I know of those, any 5th gen wheels, FJ wheels, and possibly some later tacoma wheels are all 17x7.5 +15. I'm really temped to have one completely different style but same spec wheel and 5 tire rotate to stir the pot lol

Hi guys, new to the thread and taco world, just picked up my first taco last month, been tinkering with it a little but would like to get some good shop recommendations that are recent, I found a few searching back through the thread but most were from a while back. Figured I'd introduce myself and pick the locals brains in one shot.
    Thanks fellas

You should just get one FJ Cruiser Trail Edition wheel to include in the 5 wheel rotations since it's a graphite gray with machined lip unlike these silver 4runner Trail Edition wheels.... @Wulf - have any spares to sell & ship out?

I have two of the gray ones as spares for my 4runner TE wheels. I would consider selling and shipping one late summer.

That is quite generous of you to offer, should the right project arise I may just take you up on that someday. Fortunately, I do have a single car garage and tools needed for most projects, it is the time and motivation that is becoming scarcer and scarcer, even more so with a little one on the way, hence the need to have a good shop in my back pocket for the need be times.

I installed some 5100s with OME 886 coils this weekend and after getting it back on the ground and doing a test run the CV shaft needle bearing issue has poked its head out. something small and stupid I just don't have those specialty tools to pull it and redo the seal while in there, and more importantly no free weekends for some time. Figured by the time I buy everything to do it properly I'm only saving 50 bucks if I do it myself.

Yeah I hear you. I also have a little one on the way as well. I just love doing work for people cheaper than a shop would charge and then they can buy better parts lol it's a win-win

    Hey man, welcome.

As far as shops that I use, they are a bit outside NOVA. For anything really, frame repair, gears (I had mine done here) , I'd recommend Offroad Innovations in Winchester. They run a 2 week lead time as of yesterday.

(Full disclosure, I personally know alot of the employees there)
