Something to consider if a DC power box like this one
    https://powerwerx.com/megabox-portable-power-box-bioenno-batteries

If I need AC Power, I have that wired into the truck (100W/400W so limited uses) but when you go from DC to AC you lose about 20% of your power (I can design things to get up to 94%, but gets expensive!). So I like keeping everything on DC.

Jackery has implied everything. Just understand a small charger will take 18 hours to recharge the battery. Due to heat issues, they don't allow charging and discharging at the same time. 18 hours to charge, six hours to discharge will explain not enough juice coming in.

My Resemed 10 w/ humidifier has a 90W power supply. I suspect with the humidifier, dead winter (we were down in the 40s in the house) was running humidifier full bore and the heated air tube, about 40W of power. I was running off AC plug-in the first night, getting about 6 hours in worst-case conditions.

Look at the Jackery 1000 & 100W solar panel. Plenty for three nights, solar gives you breathing room for an additional night off-grid.

I started going down Lead Acid AGM battery as I could get one for $200. Then add $769 for a second battery box, battery switch, cables, etc. If you adding a winch and a bunch of lighting, a dual battery makes sense.
offgrid4x4 Dorothy com/collections/complete-dual-battery-systems/products/2005-current-toyota-tacoma-trd-off-road-trd-pro-complete-dual-battery-system (split apart so forum doesn't trash it. Use Dorothy's short name)

Jackery 1000 is good for three nights, worst case of CPAP. $899

Yep I got the 12v adapter to use in the camper. It plugs into a 12v "cigarette" power point. I don't use the water tank so I can't speak as to how that would work. Power usage is minimal as I use it. I just leave the adapter in the camper. I haven't had any issues so far at all.

You can simply use an auxillary 12v battery just wire a 12v plug to wherever you sleep. If you take longer trips you can get a 100w suitcase solar panel and recharge the battery in no time. The suitcase system will come with a charge controller and everything already wired into it. You simply set the controller to the type of battery you have and it will go into float mode when the battery is charged. It folds up and stowes in its own easy carry case.

Done deal plus I got the dc to dc converter. After I get this I will do a test and report back on how long it actually last in hrs with humidifier off. I like the fact that it has the LIPO batts and according to there info.
2000 charges/ 10 yr life span. I don’t know if I believe all that but we shall see. So thanks Brownie

also I got the $100 off with the coupon

Hey OP, I know you may have already gotten the Golab, but just heads up - Jackery has an "Explorer Week" sale coming up 5/17 to 5/19, in case a better deal comes.

if you got this good choice. Lithium is better way to go. I have a 300w off brand lithium pack though I use AC(haven’t got a dc plug yet). It last 3-4 days running 4-5hours per night(I can’t stand it much more than that unless I’m really tired)

    Appreciate the feedback!

How much water did you use? Super dry (low humidity) I get about one night on it.

I run my Resmed auto set 10 with the humidifier on OFF, but still fill up the chamber. Doing it this way your turning off the hot plate but still getting moisture,( it’s just not heated) which makes the battery last longer.

as far is what I use water wise, I use 25% of the water on off. When... ON, I would use 75%. My heat setting would be 5 when using electricity.

Im also running the DC to DC converter cord that I bought extra for $36. It will make the battery last longer on DC rather than AC.

Has your Dr determined your apnea is bad enough that you can't benefit from something like a dental device from TAP?

I'm not talking dime store mouth guard type stuff, but a full on (as in not cheap) adjustable device that moves your jaw enough to prevent restriction.

I sprung for one for the purpose of simplifying travel. Not having to haul all that other stuff around on international trips makes life much easier.

I like it so much that I typically use it at home now too.

My DR. is clueless, I did a home sleep study and downloaded Oscar sleep software and educated myself. I have mild sleep apnea and also a deviated septum so the pressure actually helps me to breathe through the nose instead of the mouth. I need surgery I suppose, but not to thrilled to trust a Dr. to cut on me.

Is this a pulmonary specialist? Or a GP?

Many GPs / internists are great with broad knowledge. But for apnea it's a good idea to use a pulmonary specialist who has additional training (about a year's worth) in sleeping disorders. Which includes, but is not exclusive to, apnea.

In my case, central apnea. My sleep specialist (MD - Neurologist with a few more years of training on sleep disorders) looked over my results. Check into a room (felt like a mini-hotel, wired up) and record sleep. Something wasn't right, so he had me repeat it. Lack of oxygen wasn't detected the first time; my periodic limb movements were about 60 per hour. I went to 120 per hour with oxygen! Separate bedrooms, as my nightmare, are fully active, full-body movement (no, that shouldn't happen). Sleep study I was screaming and trashing, the tech came in, and I jumped out of bed, but all the wires kept me attached to the wall! My dream was Atilla the Hun was charging into the room, and I would use full force to defend myself. Oh boy.

So he is talking to when he started with, "how long have you had Parki.... uh, let me look at your chart?" Parkinson's, Autonomic Dysfunction. He was "99% of the people come in with simple apnea's but in your case..." Thankfully, I have a great medical team who take care of me, and I do my part by exercising and eating sensibly. Too many medical conditions to list, but I keep going and a crazy sense of humor. Lung cancer, complications when going in after a lobe, so they trimmed what they could. Slow growing, so gives me some more good years to go camping and hiking. Never a dull moment with me, I tell my wife she has earned every gray hair on her body!

Enjoy every sunrise and espresso is a great way to start the day!
