Granted I probably use mine more than most people since I have several trucks in here every week, but it’s something to keep an eye on.

Hey everyone. Just for transparency, I’ve been really slow to respond to PMs lately but I’m slowly getting through them. If you have a question that went unanswered, I’m not intentionally ignoring you. I injured my shoulder a couple weeks ago and can’t lift anything with one arm, let alone fab or install anything with a busted wing. I’ll respond to everyone as I work through the messages but heavy lifting is taking a back seat to “easier” jobs for now.

Posted this in the 2nd gen forum, figured you guys like seeing his work. As stated many times before, Sergio is a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions. Here is the rack he built for me, super stoked on it. If you are wondering, I asked for the extension over the cab to eliminate my Thule rack and trying to avoid purchasing an additional cab rack. Also the plate is for a rotopax. It sits super tight to topper and had i not spec'd the extension, he stated it could be a little tighter.

No dice. At the moment still nursing a busted shoulder so I can’t do any heavy lifting. Sucks because I’ve been turning away a lot of work lately and haven’t really done anything for the past month. Attempted a CMC this week since there’s no heavy lifting involved, but my shoulder reminded me to take it easy. Got it done but it took longer than usual and I could barely move the next day.

Thanks Vit. I’m slowly getting through smaller orders but suspension and bumper installs are on hold for a bit.

Got bored and in the light of all the cat thefts lately I decided to be proactive about it. Added some wings to my @Mobtown Offroad mid skid.

Got some range back but still can’t push or pull anything heavy. Small projects like this are ok so I’ve been keeping busy doing a bunch of things I’ve been putting off for a while.

I like that cat theft prevention you did. You should make complete units.

Thanks. It’s not entirely feasible to stay competitive since there’s already a few companies making something similar:

    https://getcatsecurity.com/

I just adapted their idea to my setup since I already had a skid plate.

The owner of my local taco spot owns a Tacoma and is always BSing trucks when he sees me come in. Lately his health has been deteriorating to the point where it’s hard for him to get in and out of the truck but he wants to keep it. He asked if I could lower his side steps to a more manageable level and to help get in and out of the truck. I added 3” to the mounting brackets and that brought them down to where it’s easier for him to get a foot on them and it was a good compromise where they weren’t hanging drastically low. I know a lot of people hate on tube steps but each person has their own needs. He was super happy with the resulting drop.
