Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
No problem, we are all missing our favorite spots, it sucks. If you go up Sylvester, skip Mondays. I am finding that retirees and such since Covid started, all seem to head out on a Monday to avoid the weekend crowd, but then Mondays too busy. Maybe pick a day too where the weather is not perfect, that keeps some away.

There is also the roads up to Chehalis lake, and east side of Harrison lake is great. Head up to Big Silver Creek on east side if you like to fish. Walk the river, nice rainbows and some steelhead but of course check the regs. A favorite spot of mine is Skagit River, so turning off Silverhope road before Hope, then the 40km or whatever that length to Ross lake. All of Skagit is great for fishing, but I recall it typically does not open until July 1st or so. Catch and release only, but mouth of the river at Ross lake is also good for fishing. Ross lake regs would be different than Skagit regs. I would always hit Skagit second week in September after school starts, because then the campground ar Ross lake is empty. Mosquitos really fierce up there though. I’ve fished about 130 lakes in BC, know a few spots.:)

Camo netting and not using lights after dark can get you camping in "closed" areas.

Thanks man! I can't stop staring at the thing. Regear is happening in 2 weeks and I'm pumped. Everyone says it makes such a difference. What mod are you doing next?

Probably gonna be getting sliders next. I’ve had a couple close calls and it would make things a little more comfortable not having to worry about body damage.

Yesterday, I did some light off-roading and went up as far as I could (gate was locked) on Icy Springs Rd. on the East side of the Wasatch Mts in NE Utah. It was a gorgeous day!

    Nice!

Still waiting for first fishing trip this season. All the backcountry high mountain lakes still iced over. Looks like maybe next week for first trip to one spot I like.

I’m also waiting for more snow to melt, the spring snow here is the worst. We call it cascade cement.

Out again yesterday, searching for new hike-in access lakes. Blocked for the 3rd time recently by 1 foot of wet snow on the side trails to these areas. Main roads kept clear by logging operations but no one touches the side roads, just have to wait. Settled for a couple of easy access lakes and ice almost completely off 2 of them. Looks like I can get my 10 ft aluminum into the water next week for first fishing this season. Get to test out a new fly rod setup too.

Went down a local trail in Vermont just to get more seat time. Not a technical trail but a fun one at least.

Sebring International Raceway is TECHNICALLY offroad, right? Here I am screeching tires trying to keep up with an NA Miata during the parade lap.

Exploring 4 Mile while I wait for more of Colorado to melt. None of roads were difficult but views were nice and not too many people out.

Finally got to do the iconic Cedar Tree OHV trail up here with friends/TW members. And of course some fun on the grom.
