Amps and Sub behind, double cab, rear seats (2nd Gen)?

I am looking for a amp mounting and 10" sub solution for mounting behind the rear seats.
I would like the following setup:

• Amps (2)
  • Behind passenger side rear seats
• 10" sub
  • Behind Drivers side rear seats

I swear Taco Tunes used to have this solution but I can no longer find it on their site. Does anyone know of another provider of this solution? It seems Taco Tunes has moved to under seat mounting solutions but my behind seat storage had been gutted years ago to provide a rigged solution.

I got this box, pushing 1200 watts with skar vd-10 I have sundown amp under the driver seat and the audiocontrol underneath the passenger. the only thing is I had to recualk the box the original from the manufacture did no hold up that well.

I hit him on IG then texted him. I’m in line for a single 8” box for my double cab, well worth the wait for him.

 

How long have you been waiting ? He has had some issues with his eye. Got some mdf or sandpaper in his eye that really messed him up. I've been waiting exactly 2 months now

 

Just went through this whole process and I ended up going with the JL stealthbox behind passenger rear seat, and used a Taco tunes amp rack under driver's front seat. With the seat spacers you can find on here, there was plenty of room for rack & amp, even with 2020 seat motor, and has the benefit of shorter wiring you have to run from battery. Easiest solution I could find, albeit wasn't cheapest.

 

You might get away with just the passenger area. This is Marv's sealed box for the shallow 10" JL sub and platform to mount electronics.

Yeah,that’s how I know about his eye. Not worried I have a double mr Marv box in my truck now. Just changing things up. My system sounds great. Put a lot of time into sound deadening and install

 

I’m doing the same, always trying to make my next install better than the last.

 

is this box from mr marv? does it hi9t hard being that they look like 2 12s?

 

It's 2 sd4- 10" sundowns. Yes they play pretty low for a pair of shallow subs. I'm going to be using a different sub in a ported box. To me sealed pounding into the seat backs just sounds a little muffled. I prefer the sound of a good ported box.

I’ve run both sealed and ported. I prefer ported as well, with a lot of port area and tuned nice and low for a nice flat response. Think SQ with a ton of low frequency extension.

That said, I’m not giving up all of the storage in my truck behind the seats (I use most of it) so I asked Marv to build me a single 8” box for behind the DR seat for an SD4 8”. It won’t beat down the block, but it’ll do what I need.

 

Be nice to see how this box looks and sounds when you get it.

 

Curious to know how it sounds too. I’m sure a single sealed 8 would not do it for me but we’re all different. The 2 -10’s get loud but just not the sound I’m after. These trucks don’t leave many options unless we rip the back seats out and that’s not happening !!!
