Finally picked up my TRD Sport! Promptly added our tent and rack along with a retrax one xr. Traded the sport suspension for the trdor setup. Rides so much better. 265/70/17 ko2’s coming this week. D921571D-C98E-4385-AE88-1554FAA3D712.jpgDC2A9525-E8AA-4C02-8AFD-D037EB0F042F.jpg

If you need directions on how to screw on skid plates, that’s on you. If the holes don’t line up, that’s a manufacturer defect.

I was not referring to a skid plate but rather things that are more complicated to install like a roof rack, a bumper a roof top tent. But now that you mention it, if I order a skid plate it would be nice to have some instructions, a complete parts list, best practices, etc. Common courtesy when you spend a lot of money ... I personally think it is right to include instructions, product info, etc. But maybe I am old fashioned that way ...

    Carry on ...

Edit: For instance, nice of Toyota to provide them for the OEM skid plate. Sure, you might not need them, but good to have nonetheless.Screenshot_20171013-215603.jpg

I actually looked through the skid plate instructions prior to installing my skid plate. Something I’ve found over the years is engineers don’t always (or often even) design something with the installer/end user in mind. What may seem obvious and make sense can sometimes be the completely wrong way to install something. Instructions are always a plus.

Mods so far on my new 2021:
    • Upgraded suspension to Bilstein 6112s in front (2" lift), and 5100s rear (may do an AAL in rear when I get new tires).
    • Removed the stickers on the bed.
    • Changed the front grill emblem overlay.
    • Added OEM bed lights & auto tailgate lock.
    • Added rodent alarm beneath the hood.
    • Added tonneau cover (for now, may go to soft-topper in future).

exactly how I felt. I spoke to them on the phone a few times before I ordered and they were great, but the missing instructions and little info online really frustrated me quickly. Took about 6 hours to get it all done, and all due to little mistakes that a page of instructions would’ve cleared up.

I emailed them after and they sent me pdf of instructions (too late hah!) and apologized saying someone in shipping messed up..

I wish these companies well, but man was it frustrating hah

they weren’t critical to getting it done, got it installed in the end. Just some minor details that added up to make the process prolonged and a bit more frustrating.

Whoa!! Thanks for finding that. I checked mine - it's actually a 1501...and subject to the recall. The Greenworks page doesn't give much detail but it looks like it is the spray gun that is subject to the recall. I generally have used another spray gun instead of the one provided - although I used the GW one for hours when I power washed our back porch furniture and back porch a few weeks ago.

I submitted the form for a replacement spray gun.

It was in there yesterday when I looked at the truck, I figured it would be gone since they washed it before I picked it up but nope, still there today.

This is from yesterday when I looked at it

A buddy from Instagram sent me some old leds he was done with for the headlights. The plug & play style makes it so easy to install. The headlights are so much brighter now! Can’t wait until I get my Alpha Rex lights and add these leds to them.

Installed a RedArc Liberty trailer brake controller to replace my Prodigy RF controller. Was hunting for a good spot to attach the ground wire behind the kick panel to no avail. Turns out it was staring me in the face as pointed out by @IndyTac (tks).
