Thanks John! I still don't have the title from Penndot yet, but just kinda putting feelers out there. Once I get it I'll put it on Marketplace. Trying to sell other crap to scrap up enough cash to buy my coworkers older Toyota pickup. Hopefully that can happen.

Out of curiosity, how much are you asking for the Talon?

Between the down payment and all the crap I needed to move in, I burned through a big fucking pile of cash when I bought mine. I think people who have never ponied up 20% down, then realized you need half a dozen appliances and a lawnmower, just don't understand how big of a thing it is.

Hell, I didn’t even put 20% down. I won’t need a lawnmower either, because it’s a townhouse. That said, there’s still a shit load of stuff I need to buy. Washer, dryer, blinds, dining set, racedeck flooring for the garage, storage cabinets for the garage, moving costs for me, moving costs for her, interim taxes, a deck.

    Did I miss anything?

Here's some advice: You're always missing something.

    Also buy a plunger.

Yep burnt through a bunch of cash buying my house, but definitely worth it. Just glad we bought when we did, the housing market for sellers right now is insane. Bought my house 2 years ago and I know it will sell right now for at least 70k more than what we bought it for

I'm heading to Allegheny NF tomorrow for a few days, anyone have any wisdom to share? I have not been up there before. I'm going through State College instead of Harrisburg so I can get a look at Centralia. Only thing on my list is the Kinzua sky walk.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Yesterday was gorgeous! I got the pool solar cover cleaned and vacuumed it out again - should be ready to go. Then I decided to wash the truck - always fun time for me. Someone in 3rd Gen asked about the electric power washer I use and someone then posted a link to a recall on the unit - replacement of the plastic pressure wand but I use a better one anyway. Submitted the recall form for replacement, though.

No big projects today. Need to run a few errands and remove 2 shelves from the old greenhouse. Then I think I'll lay by the pool.

I don't like to share a morbid story but I read on a local news app yesterday that a man and woman were murdered in a rural township in Westmoreland County. The relevant part is that the murderer escaped in the victim's 2005 red Tacoma. They showed a video of the truck this morning, abandoned on a rural road. It had some kind of stripe on the side. Aside from feeling empathy for these deaths, I hope the person/victim wasn't active here, that is somebody with whom we chatted.

Kinzua is great, really makes your ass pucker walking out there, I’d allow 2-3 hours for it, they have some great displays inside. At that point it’d be worth it to veer off a little to go to the Zippo factory/museum. Add another 2 hours but totally worth it. Here’s a couple pics...192FC1C2-1772-4DD9-B975-A42587DC0E81.jpg3A4BF7A2-5686-44B7-829A-5099022C8286.jpg9C086B41-262C-47EA-8F45-09D6B158E06E.jpg

Can't like the post because of the circumstances surrounding the post and I hope it isn't someone who was on the TW site. Thanks for posting Charlie.

Thanks again. Figured I’d report back. Sadly no Pine Creek fish for me…or any of the other 100+ anglers I saw over the 3 days. Might have been the cold weather that came in. Actually got hailed on at one point (wife and 7 year old were displeased).

At the canoe launch at Ross run I tossed in a spinner on my ultralight and a trout hit the second cast but also shook that (I pinch all my barbs).

I did toss a green popper on at Hamilton Lake just to see if a bluegill or bass would hit and boom, second cast a real nice trout hit it. Hooked another a few casts later but he shook it.

It was beautiful out there. Wolfe’s was a great stop for sandwiches and ice cream. Nice hikes along the rail trail to see a handful of waterfalls. Saw an eagle fly to its nest at Little Pine state park

I’ll start a new post next. Headed to Bald Eagle this weekend.
