just picked up a Spyderco sharpmaker - going to really breathe new life into my kitchen stuff until I pull the trigger on benchmade table knives. and my scissors...and nailclippers...and literally everything. my wife is going to be so annoyed with me.....more.

Here's my everyday carry. Benchmade 950 Rift. It's heavy but I don't mind.

It's a good blade I like it better than the 940 because it's bigger.

 

Walnut Mule scales are coming along nicely. This is after two coats of waterlox finish. Next week I'm going to stabilize some walnut and then use CA glue to finish. I'm hoping those pop and shine like I want.



I just received these scale blanks in the mail. I can't wait to see the finished results.



One of my Co-workers is making pens and it got me thinking. I like the idea of offering a matching knife handle and pen as a set. So, I'm adding that to the list eventually.
