Cant edit title! Weird NOISE* lol

What's wrong with my truck? Here's the problem. I own a 2007 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner. It's making what I'd say is a vibration noise. It makes this noise when i idle but not too loud. It gets louder when i shift gears but gets quiet as i actually get into a different gear. It gets the loudest as I'm braking but actually stops when I'm fully braked. We thought it was my exhaust manifold gasket leaking at first so we replaced the gasket but the noise is still there. Someone said it might be my transmission mount. Its on the passenger side.

Its definitely not a u joint or wheel hub. I've had those issues before. You cant hear it while driving.

Truck drives fine otherwise. Any ideas? I can post a video to YouTube if anyone wants to hear the noise. TIA

    Yeah.
Ah, you mentioned switching gears, so I assumed it was MT. I'd check mounts.

When it makes this noise at idle is that sitting still and in park?

So it makes the noise at idle, but disappears when fully braked. And you can't hear it while driving? Or was this only for your U Joint / Wheel Hub comment?
So it only makes the noise when you're rolling in neutral?

A video might help, or not.

Sorry ok. I just listened again and this time it basically made the noise in drive, reverse etc but not park or neutral. Although it has done it in park before after sitting for awhile. So if im creeping and i brake the noise gets loud but stops if i fully press the brake and the vehicle stops.

Im going to upload a video.

Is it the same when driving as it is when not moving/parking brake engaged?
Edit... i see you say it disappears when driving.

I would start pushing on the interior, start with the glove box and dash panels, door panels, seat belts on the pillars. See if that stops the noise.

Can you hear the sound outside the truck? Or is it only heard inside? Sounds like something's just hitting on something. When you're in gear the vibration frequency of the engine changes and can rattle things, like the exhaust shielding (which it doesn't sound like) and other things. Best to have someone in the truck to recreate the sound. Then you figure out where it's coming from. It could be as simple as something ratting in the glove compartment or door cup holders, or something like the intake tubing moving around and making noise (which I've had long ago). Lot's of possibilities. Recreate it with someone around to hone in on it.
