Biggest gripe with Mattel black wheels. They are extremely hard to clean.

Thanks for the pics of these wheels on an MGM Tacoma....I have a '15 MGM but was worried how they would look. I was going to to 17" Sema wheels but everyone seems to have them and I also like the look of 16" wheels/tires on these trucks!!!!

Do they look like crap if you don't clean them or just look like a little dirty. I wanted to get the matte blacks because I'm not a fan of the gloss blacks

Quite a few things at this point..
The new TRD Pro Tacoma 2020+ wheels are now a satin black, no longer gloss. And they weigh only 21lbs now.
    They clean up nice

    And look good dirty too

they look like crap if you don’t maintain the Mayte finish. I use Dr Beasleys matte wheel cleaner and sealant. Not excessively and was the rig they are in maybe one every three months or so. They look new. I’ve seen other rigs however and they look trashed

I feel satin black is the happy medium between gloss black and matte. Not too glossy, and not too matte to where they look dirty even when clean

It's a lie, they're satin. I'd suggest not going through Amazon, they're overpriced. You can get these wheels for $200 and lower at a lot of online Toyota shops. And don't forget you'll need to order the center caps as well, they usually run $20 or lower.

They are the matte black ones. 17s. They aren't true matte though, there is a "satin" like clear finish that makes them as easy to maintain as a gloss finish. This is a huge positive in my opinion. As was previously mentioned, true matte is ridiculously hard to maintain.

I've seen the new taco pro wheels and I like em. Might get some for my next set of tires. It's funny reading back my old message. While it may have been true back then, the t4r pro wheels are not at all rare these days. I see them all the time on non pro Toyotas around town.

When switching from the stock 2020 TRD Off Road 16” wheels to 2020 TRD Pro 16” wheels can I reuse the stock chrome lug nuts? If I want to have black lug nuts does anyone know the part number? Thanks

I think those are the TRD Pro sema wheels in Gun metal gray correct?

Wow I forgot about this....I ended up getting 16” TRD wheels for my MGM. Love the way they look but will be swapping out to SCS 16” F5s once in stock again.
