    4 run, 2 don't
I mean, I've never filled one up.

I just take it to a local gas supply shop.

just take it to a place that fills them, not really a pain unless you dont have a gas shop anywhere near you

Some gas supply places do not like to refill bottles on the spot, they prefer to do exchanges. If you have a nice CO2 tank you don't want to be doing an exchange for what ever is available.

Before you spend lots of money on a CO2 setup you should make sure there is place you can get it refilled within the area you are willing to travel. Gas Supply stores, welding supply, home brew supply, paint ball places are all options.

This 100%. I called around before I ordered to see if anyone filled on site or if I’d have to do exchanges. Found a place and bought the fancy tank. In and out in 5 minutes to get it refilled.

Grow shops usually have the best prices, $5 for a swap of my 20 lber vs $25 at General Air, which is where the grow shop gets theirs by the pallet. Not a refill though if you have a tank you are fond of.

ended up getting a decent ViAir. Used it and it aired the tires quickly. Attaches to battery terminals.
Compressor got a bit hot so I just stood it upright on the floor mat to not burn anything and waited for it to cool before handling/putting it back away into the bag.
Maybe not a bad idea to have both.

    PowerTank
cons: mounted in bed, could get stolen. Shiny $300 object
pros: can seat beads. Not as needed if you have Method beadgrip
    can air up quickly
    mobile
    can operate air tools

for now at least a ViAir seems fine. Pretty small, doesn't take up space. Inside the bag, it goes neatly into back seat storage cubby
