I tend to stick with the OEM filters on something that uses cartridge style. That and the filters through the dealer are only $6.

Now oil, these damn Toyota's will run on just about anything

so I’ll tell you a story.
If not oem I use Napa gold.
So I went to change the oil in the wife’s jeep.
    Bought a Napa gold.
Came home and pulled the oil filter out of the box.

    389217B1-5E80-4DDC-82ED-8C83F991F028.jpg
with a note saying due to supply problems we have substituted a product that conforms
    To our specifications .

so, I put it back in the box and chucked it on the bench. Changed the oil. I’ll try again in the fall to see if they really do have Napa gold filters in the box..

So the Camry got an oil change and interior/exterior cleaning today. Just rolled over 30,500 miles and it's a 2015 o_O Guess I'm gonna start driving it some more since the Talon is a bust.

Also realized I haven't put a coat of sealant on it since June 2018o_O Still shines just as good. Guess being garage kept all this time has been a good thing. It does have a bad case of artillery fungus (little black dots everywhere) so I guess for the first time ever I'll do a light polish once I removed all the dots. Not bad for owning it 6 years since new. Guess proper washing pays off! More than likely it and the Tacoma will receive a proper ceramic coating this year.

    Update,

I had Home Depot cut the whole board in 12"x 12" pieces.

    Plenty of spares if needed.

Understand that I wouldn't have either... I meant the NAPA Gold part though. Or I'm probably confused...again. I couldn't make out what brand filter was actually in the box.

EDIT: you should fish more :boink:

Roughly 62 miles round trip, 4 days a week. However it's 30 miles roughly to the nearest Home Depot, Walmart, etc. so that's why the Tacoma has 6,000 miles on it already since December...
