:anonymous: Also can confirm. Especially snapping Toyota steel.

I thought Silicone based is best for Poly?

    https://www.suspension.com/blog/the-best-grease-for-polyurethane-bushings/

I use Super lubes silicone grease for my UCA's and shackles/leaf springs. Red and tacky for driveline.

Red and tacky is good shit.

And what I have been up to is a form of sadomachism by being forced to cut off shock mounts I just welded on in 2019.

Hoping it will be worth it though:

Still in progress. Need to run the lines and perm bolt up the bags now that the mounts are burned in and painted. Thanks @turbodb for having a highly organized build thread so I could find the part number on Ruff Stuff's site quickly to reorder the second set.

Its even more fun cutting off spring perches because you screwed up the pinion angle.

This cluster fuck really has me looking into cheap plasmas. I know no method is perfect but I could have saved much more grinding if I could have cut closer to the axle/wash the welds a bit.

Yeah PTFE silicone based grease is what Energy and Daystar provide for their poly bushings, similar to the HF Superlube.

Superlube is way easier to pump through a gun though. The Energy stuff is so tacky a I've broken a (cheap) grease gun handle trying to pump it out.

I don't see any issues with using it. My only beef it it squeaks. Which is annoying AF. So I use Moly lithium based and its always much quieter. So that's worth it to me.

Love the glowshift gauge placement! Did you tap directly into the battery to power it or a live cable in the cab? Looking to install mine next oil change
