Did you see ethereum is making massive changes to cut down energy usage per transaction. They claim 99.95% less per transaction.

Yep. All crypto will have to make themselves greener. The amount of computing power to mine coins or execute protocols is really, really high. As the networks expand that power consumption will go through the roof unless devs can find a way to reduce it.

 

Solar panels on top of NVDA GPUs. Really seems like a no-brainer.

 

Yep. And BTC will follow suit as long as ETH makes sure it works. I'm curious to see how ETH implements it.

 

India is fining people using residential power for mining. I heard today some mining projects take up more power than the entire country of the Netherlands. Crypto won’t be green until it’s on 100% renewable which won’t ever happen. But a lot more people are woke about the power it takes now and a lot of people actually care so we’ll start to see some changes.

 

I watched this interview today and thought it was interesting. Pretty cool they are planning on using some management fees to offset the climate effects.

Or it could be more people are selling then buying the past 30 minutes. It's a hive mentality. Once volume picks up in either direction it tends to move the prices quickly across the board. lol
