    Ooh I got an email alert! Then forgot to check back anyway. And no, no trips planned. Only thing is a tentative family road trip up to North Dakota so my grandma can visit with her great grandkids again. At 99 I want her to get a chance to see them in person again before it's too late. Haven't been camping since October. Really need to get out soon.

    Word dude! I wish my grand parents were still around. I'm.old enough to want to sit and just listen to them and be round them. Taking your kids to see her and for her to see them will be very special for everyone.

    I may sneak off to NM for an extended weekend in June. Got access to some land out there that I need to check out. Lmk if you got a free weekend plus a couple days. I know Cody has access and needs a break too. Plus my kiddo should have a permit and will drive

    I got a chance to do that with my step-dad's mom before she died a few years ago. She had so many great stories that my parents never even knew about. For instance her first husband was a pilot for the Marines in WW2. Everyone thought he just transported planes between Hawaii and California. Turns out he was running secret recon missions over the South Pacific lol.

    If this trip to ND in June falls through I'm definitely up for a NM trip
