Great little cleaners. I got their so-weird-they-must-have-been-high "barkbath", its a combination spot cleaner and dog washer.

They wont break any speed records when it comes to area cleaning, but they are thorough.

    Stock. For now.
Does it get worse after ac on or off? Could be ac evaporator? My truck had seen a lot of dirt road use by prior owner. I was chasing smells for a while. No matter how much I cleaned it, shampooed carpet, seats, headliner, it would come back. Seemed worse if ac ran recently. Frustrating, but these things seem to suck in trail dust in the worst places. Everywhere.

Found an old post about cleaning evap coil. There was a ton of crap in there. Dirt, leaves, etc. No cabin filters on gen1. Took it apart under dash, vacuumed out and used foam evap cleaner. Ducts were dusty dirty too. That helped a huge amount. But it was a pain to do.

No AC does not affect it at all. However I will get to the Evap cleaner. I am sure it will help a bunch. For sure it is seats. They had this nasty smell of them
Previous owner was a hunter / fishermen and gone off road a lot. Also smoked in the truck back in the day from what I can tell.

just brought 1 drivers seat out and started using my brand new Bissell 1400m. Second go and it is still sucking out dirty water. This seat was nasty. So I might have to do 4 passes on this dang seat. So much dang work. I will be throwing the rear seat out for sure. Will just wait for ebay to give me a clean one. Too much work and no one ever rides in a back.
