Ford F150 Lightning battery alone weights 1800#. Low slung but man, that's alot of weight to haul around all the time. I think energy density in batteries needs to get much better before we start doing full size E-Trucks.

 

The irony of TW "off-roaders" complaining about weight while having roof racks, gas cans, RTTs, 1/4" skid plates, and other shit hanging off their truck...

 

Point taken, but I keep my truck as light as possible. I think too many of us forget we drive ultralight duty trucks. Many of us are rolling around over GVWR just with the bolt on parts you mentioned.
