I picked up one of those for a trip this weekend. It was half the price of a regular butt and I've smoked them before. They cook up just fine.

just a couple of things tbh
very stupid question tbh but alright ill bite

a type r standard with dealer markup can be between 39k-50k for a civic..... good luck finding one for msrp.
on top of finding one without the stupid dealer add on carbon shit thats a 5k upcharge for pointless plastic bits that get replaced for carbon......

and the reason for a si is its a fun daily driver that gets good mpg and isnt expensive to own for loan reasons or to fuel or insurance plus mods for the car is way cheaper and the 1.5t as proven by procivic you can get 500hp from it but sadly the oil pump wouldnt keep up and it locked the motor up after a lot of drag testing.

its the same even for the lower trim civics they are good reliable cars that are fun to drive and cheap to own the hatchback has a few more issues with any type of tunes or bolt ons since it has weaker internals but people still like them a lot

thats also not true about coilovers modern coilovers are way better bc makes great coilovers and ive ridden in a civic si coupe with bcs and it rode better then my car does on lowering springs but that comes with a price of 1500 and i dont want to spend that. plus you could always go bags they ride way better then both options and you can change how high or low you are but you run the risk of one blowing out and then being stuck on the side of the road since most tow trucks wont be able to tow you with how low you are.... and on top of that a good airbag system can run 2-3k and then you have to plumb everything up

and on top of that a si and type r have a stiffer suspension from the factory so they already ride rough so meh it doesnt feel any different besides at high speeds i have next to no wobble now and i have less ass tilt around corners
