Whereabouts upstate? What roads would you be driving and when are you coming north next? Just to give you an idea, it is a trailer and you would need a pintle hitch.....

Same here Bob! My pleasure! Can't wait for it to happen again some day. Phoenix was sad to see you go.

This has to be the longest (time) Tacoma Express on record!

How long did this one take? I half want to know if it beats my awning or worklight express

    2 questions.

    1) how much does one of these setups go for?

    2) if I use 50' of line how big a boat can this anchor in 15' swells on the open ocean?

Because overkill is an understatement in regard to this being mounted on a Tacoma.

You're gonna need to run air bags before you even hook up the trailer! :D

You can't cheat like that Brandon! That damn light was at my house twice! No fair! And your awning......well, black holes obviously do exist and time is irrelevant in those. :burp:

lol ok ok, yes typically this style hitch is for heavy heavy heavy duty stuff.... stuff that is far outside of the tacoma towing capacities...

that being said however, there are still plenty of smaller trailers that will have a lunette ring that will require someone to have a pintle hook hitch setup...

the setup wasnt cheap, but I had to pick one up quickly so, I had to pay over the counter prices at each HF and autozone. would have saved a few bucks buying one on Amazon I am sure, but seldom do I give them any monies.

And yes, the reason I kept mine was because I thought I might get a military trailer one day. I've since changed my mind and will build off a regular utility trailer.

the way I figured was either the person who gets this trailer I picked up will need it and buy it from me or this now gives me incentive for that military trailer I dont need but would look real purdy behind my taco

I feel ya Brother. They are not cheap but they are way more than a draw bar, that's for sure

As a matter of fact, I have to wonder if a pintle hook setup wouldn't provide some articulation while off road. At least more than a standard ball setup.

That's a crazy looking trailer. Looks a little like one of those highway sign trailers or perhaps a highway work light trailer.
