so slow at work today. Whats everyones plans for memorial day?

 

Hopefully a little this followed by a little that

 

finally moving into my place in Flagstaff, just in time for the valley to get really hot!

 

Either pool partying at my Aunt/Uncle's place in deep Cave Creek.. or pool party at the Bosses house in Chandler. Undecided still...

 

About the same plans here. Just got to find a place with no people.

Damn I miss pool parties and BBQ's down there. Im headed out into the woods with Blaine and Keepers out to the Blue I think is the current plan. Little fishing some dirtbikes (wanna come ride? ) and lots of beers.

 

Lol! It would be a couple years ago now! I don't need that BS again. I do want to get up there soon. I know Colby will be up at the Cabin soon for a while too.

 

Put up some new lights in the garage, what do you guys think? I'll tack the dangling wires down later once I make sure the lights are... properly aligned.

Apparently the last new one in the Valley for a while.

I managed to not get reamed on it too.

Finance guy was a total ballbag and tried to sell me a VSC, I politely declined and he said in an extremely condescending tone "You don't see the value in protecting your new vehicle?" like I was an imbecile.
I told him again, very politely, no thank you, I purchased one in the past and never used it and don't see any real value in it since I do most of the maintenance work myself.

He proceeds to tell me "Oh that voids the warranty, you know!! Service has to be done by a Toyota tech or the warranty is void!!"

I lost my patience a bit and was like "Nah, that's not how that works at all."

He was a total dickhead. I'm well aware of Magnuson-Moss and I don't appreciate you lying through your teeth at me.

I got the GM to approve taking half a percent off the interest rate for my trouble.

 

Well congratulations! What'd say we go out and get some AZ pinstripes on it this weekend to break it in properly?

Got a canvas firewood bag off Amazon. Best $30 Ive spent in a while. Finally able to keep the splinters out of my bedrug and couldnt be happier about it. Holds at least 3 gas station size bundles, probably 4.

 

This is the third time I've seen this truck, so I figured I'd get a picture of the train wreck rear bumper this time. It has a cool step at least.

 

The bumper validates the parking spot.

 

Is there any interest for OEM take-off wheels and tires? If got a set with basic valve stems with ~300 miles that I want to get rid of locally. I can post more info if anyone wants them.

 

is the rolls north of saguaro still open even with some fires over in superstitions goin on?
